A welcoming and ambitious primary school in Islington is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 3 Teacher to join their team from September 2026 on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting pupils as they transition from Key Stage 1 into Lower Key Stage 2.

The successful candidate will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally in a Year 3 class
Demonstrate strong knowledge of the Lower Key Stage 2 curriculum
Deliver engaging, creative, and differentiated lessons that inspire a love of learning
Have high expectations for behaviour, attainment, and pupil progress
Use assessment effectively to monitor progress and plan for individual learning needs
Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
Be committed to contributing to the wider school community

The role will involve:

Planning and delivering high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum
Supporting pupils with the transition from Key Stage 1 to Lower Key Stage 2
Monitoring and assessing pupil progress to ensure excellent outcomes
Creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
Working collaboratively with colleagues and senior leaders to maintain high standards of teaching and learning
