Great Early Years teaching turns curiosity into learning.
Teach Now is seeking an experienced Early Years Teacher for a long-term opportunity in Islington. We are looking for someone who understands how purposeful play, strong adult interaction and carefully planned provision combine to create an outstanding start to school life.
As the Early Years Teacher, you will create an environment in which children feel secure enough to explore, communicate, take risks and become increasingly independent.
Key responsibilities:
Planning stimulating continuous and enhanced provision
Developing communication, language, literacy and early mathematics
Delivering effective phonics and early-reading teaching
Observing and assessing children's development
Supporting personal, social and emotional development
Adapting provision for children with SEND
Working closely with Early Years practitioners and families
You should have:
QTS
Recent EYFS or Reception teaching experience
Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework
Secure understanding of early reading and phonics
Excellent classroom organisation
A creative, nurturing and reflective approach
Salary is dependent on experience and qualifications, within the advertised £40,372–£59,864 range.
For an Early Years Teacher who values purposeful learning as much as creativity and play, this is an excellent September opportunity.
