Kenny Recruit is partnering with a leading provider of specialist support services in the healthcare sector to recruit a Credit Controller. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing, values-driven organisation that is committed to delivering high-quality support to adults with complex needs. The role offers exposure to a complex funding environment, including NHS and local authority contracts, and provides the chance to make a meaningful impact on the organisation’s financial operations while working closely with both internal teams and external funders.
About the Role
As Credit Controller, you will play a key role in ensuring all services are billed accurately and invoices are settled within agreed terms. You will work closely with funding bodies, including NHS and local authorities, as well as internal commercial and operational teams, to maintain smooth financial operations.
Location:
North London
Hybrid Working: 3 days in Office
Working hours:
Monday – Friday 9.00am - 6.00pm
Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 (depending on experience) + benefits
Key Responsibilities
* Raise invoices in line with agreed rates and billing cycles.
* Work with commercial finance on updates to existing contract and leavers/joiners.
* Maintain accurate and up to date records to support billing.
* Ensure invoices are submitted to relevant funders at the correct time.
* Ensure invoices are paid within agreed terms.
* Post receipts against invoices with Intacct accounting software.
* Contact funders to resolve disputes/payment queries.
* Build relationships with funders.
* Support Management Accountants in calculating accrued/deferred income.
* Prepare reports and updates to management using Sage Intacct and Excel software.
* Assist and support the finance function as required.

* Proven experience within a complex credit control function.
* Strong communication skills for both internal and external stakeholders.
* Ability to organise workload effectively and meet deadlines.
