Female Dementia‑Trained Support Worker; Non‑Personal Care – N5

Overview

Sure Care Central London, a CQC‑registered care provider, is seeking a compassionate female Dementia‑Trained Support Worker to support a service user living in N5 (Islington).

This role involves companionship and practical day‑to‑day support only. No personal care is required. Due to the preferences and needs of the service user, this position is open to female applicants only.

Hours:

1 hour per day, Monday to Sunday, 10:00am – 11:00am. Additional hours may be available for hospital appointments and shopping

Start date:

Immediate

• Dementia‑aware companionship and emotional reassurance
• Supporting a calm, structured daily routine
• Light meal preparation
• Medication prompts
• Light household tasks
• Accompanying the service user to appointments or shopping when required

Please note:

the service user has cats, so applicants must be comfortable working in a pet‑friendly home.

• Dementia training or relevant experience
• Female carer (due to service user preference)
• Kind, patient, and reliable approach
• Good communication skills
• Right to work in the UK
• Enhanced DBS preferred

This role would particularly suit someone who is available during school hours and looking for extra income.

There are also more hours available with other clients in the near vicinity, offering the potential to build up a local schedule.
