A nationally recognized home builder is hiring a Construction Manager to run on-site operations for a major multifamily townhome project in Issaquah, WA. This role owns the jobsite from foundation to finish, managing schedules, subcontractors, budgets, inspections, and quality control while serving as the on-site authority for all daily construction activity. You’ll take full responsibility for progress, safety, communication, and final delivery, working closely with an experienced leadership team that values independence, problem-solving, and genuine collaboration.
They’re looking for a confident, hands‑on builder who thrives outdoors, thinks fast, and knows how to run a jobsite without hand holding.
Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000 / Year DOE
Construction Manager Responsibilities- Manage all on-site construction activities for the assigned project from start to completion
- Oversee schedules, budgets, inspections, and critical milestones
- Supervise subcontractors, field staff, and suppliers to ensure quality and timeliness
- Conduct daily job site walkthroughs to monitor progress, safety, compliance, and cleanliness
- Maintain OSHA, SWPPP, and company safety standards always
- Review, code, and approve subcontractor and supplier invoices
- Communicate construction updates, schedule changes, and issue resolutions across sales, design, and operations teams
- Coordinate site development, utilities, and inspections with relevant partners
- Lead homebuyer walkthroughs, orientations, and closings to ensure delivery readiness
- Provide ongoing feedback on purchasing regarding trade performance
- Evaluate selected options for cost and schedule impact
- Maintain organized job‑site documentation, reports, and administrative records
- Run the project independently while knowing when to involve leadership
- Work closely with Rick and Nick during weekly job-site check‑ins
- 4+ years of multifamily ground‑up construction experience
- Proven ability to run a job independently with minimal supervision
- Strong schedule management abilities, including daily updates
- Experience coordinating subcontractors and overseeing field execution
- Comfortable working in all weather conditions (WA winter + rain)
- Strong judgment, resourcefulness, and ability to make quick decisions on‑site
- Tech‑savvy with proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to move between projects as the company's needs evolve
- Strong communication skills and ability to represent the company professionally
- Must be hands‑on, self‑directed, and solution‑oriented
- Experience with commercial, single‑family, and multifamily builds preferred
- Build Pro experience preferred
- Local home builder experience or existing relationships in the WA market preferred
- Degree in construction management or related field preferred
- Ability to navigate retail/commercial components within multifamily projects preferred
