About You
We are looking for a motivated collaborator dedicated to the well‑being of patients and clients. You would be excited about the opportunity to help grow the practice by offering excellent preventative care, performing routine surgery and dentistry, and recommending appropriate and detailed case workups while providing thorough client communication. Who we are
Alpine Animal Hospital, a successful and beautiful 3‑doctor small animal practice, is looking for an experienced full‑time Associate Veterinarian to join our AAHA‑accredited, cat‑friendly, high‑volume general practice.
Our hospital provides a wide range of diagnostic capabilities, including a full in‑house laboratory, digital radiology, endoscopy, video otoscopy, ECG, and on‑site ultrasound. Doctors are supported by an amazing group of dedicated technicians, client care coordinators, and a leadership team with many years of experience in the veterinary field. We value constant growth and learning, open communication, exceptional medicine, and a team‑player mentality.

Serving Issaquah and the surrounding communities for 40 years, Alpine Animal Hospital is a well‑established practice dedicated to providing exceptional veterinary care and outstanding customer service. Alpine Animal Hospital is nestled in the foothills of the Cascades, near gorgeous Lake Sammamish and only steps away from Lake Sammamish State Park and Issaquah Creek. It is a nature lover’s dream! In addition, Issaquah is only a short drive to mountains and ski resorts, national forests for excellent hiking opportunities, award‑winning wineries, professional and college‑level sporting events, world‑class museums and entertainment venues, and all that nearby Bellevue and Seattle have to offer!

Experience & Skills Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent degree required.
- State Veterinary Board License and must be in good standing for the state in which they intend to be hired, prior to their start date.
- Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligible.
- Minimum 2 years of experience

Compensation is negotiable based on credentials and experience with an annual PROSAL range starting at $130,000/year. The actual salary offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
