- Support a case load of clients qualifying for Vocational and Community Inclusion services.
- Assist employers in identifying, setting up, and facilitating jobs for clients.
- Identify clients’ job interests.
- Provide job coaching and career‑development support to improve job skills.
- Promote and facilitate social integration between clients and other employees.
- Provide personal and career counseling and behavioral intervention for clients to enhance job performance.
- Maintain excellent communication with company managers, supervisors, and employees to support positive outcomes.
- Teach work to clients at job sites using simple, repetitive training methods.
- Monitor client activity to ensure productivity and quality outcomes.
- Report regularly to the Vocational Services Program Manager and Director regarding clients’ progress.
- Communicate with the Program Manager, Director, care providers, and parents about any employment issues.
- Attend client PCSP team meetings when directed.
- Familiarize with clients’ needs and limitations to ensure appropriate accommodations.
- Notify supervisors immediately of any problems with clients or employers.
- Collaborate with supervisors and job‑site managers to prepare daily/weekly scheduled duties for clients.
- Document client activities, progress, and support via weekly email.
- Promote employment services in compliance with agency philosophy, policies, and state regulations.
- Emphasize strong work ethics and appropriate performance.
- Act as a positive example for clients at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
- No prior employment specialist experience required; training provided upon hire.
- Experience working with adults with disabilities is preferred but not required.
- Training will include office and community sessions with experienced staff.
- Occasional meetings at the office will be required.
This is a community‑based position. Your working location will vary based on client needs. You will receive a company laptop and mileage reimbursement to support on‑the‑road client support. This is not a remote position; office space is available at one of our company offices when not with clients in the field.
