Java Back End Developer

Title:

Sr. Java Backend Developer

Location:

Issaquah, WA (3 days onsite per week) Duration: 6-12 Months Contract

Required:

• Minimum 8 years’ experience in performing API microservices development using Spring Boot and Java.
• Minimum 8 years of application development experience in Java.
• Experience with developing and running applications in a public cloud environment (GCP preferred).
• Hands‑on working knowledge of a major relational database (DB2, SQL Server etc.) and/or No
  
  Sql.
• Experience working in CI/CD, and designing and delivering Dev Ops automation for app deployment and testing.
• Experience programming in databases such as Oracle, Cosmos
  
  DB or Spanner
  
  DB.
• Possesses a strong understanding of the software development process (SDLC).
• Strong knowledge of object‑oriented concepts and leveraging design patterns.
• Strong knowledge and experience working with databases.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and be able to communicate to both technical and business audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to execute against iteration plans and deliver assignments within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Able to support off‑hours work as required, including weekends, holidays, and 24/7 on‑call responsibilities on a rotational basis.

• 8+ years of experience with developing Spring Boot and Spring Batch applications and deploying to Cloud (GCP or Azure).
• 3+ years of experience with implementing and deploying microservices to the Cloud (GCP or Azure).
• 1+ years distributed cache technologies such as Redis.
• 1+ years of experience building responsive front‑end applications using React and integration with RESTful APIs or Graph
  
  QL services
• 1+ years event and pub/sub technologies like Azure Pub/Sub, or Kafka.
• Knowledge of software design patterns.
• Proven practical experience operating in a large‑scale production environment.
• Prior experience with performance analysis and optimization of web services and software.
• Working experience with AEM – DAM implementation would be great.
