Job Description

• Conduct Design FMEA (Failure Mode Effects Analysis) to assess potential failure modes and devise effective prevention strategies and control factors as part of design verification.
• Develop functional and engineering test specifications, actively support validation activities on Engineering Breadboards (EBB), and contribute to Systems testing steps.
• Ensure timely delivery of System & Netcom Applications deliverables and meet program metrics according to the Ford Global Product Development System.
• Lead the collection and review process of component data, including Device Transmittals, NIDs,  and CAN Hardware Review.
• Draw logical schematics, conduct compatibility reviews, initiate system design changes, maintain accurate records of modifications and ensure physical layer compliances.
• Develop Netcom Topology, CAN message list and Diagnostics work streams.
• Support Module Configurations, EOL-VSCS testing, Functional Testing, DTC masking and CBT process.
• Provide system sign-off for prototype vehicles and offer program launch support at Ford manufacturing plants.
• Report out Systems and Netcom Readiness to stakeholders.
• Conduct and analyse KOL time interval for prototype and pre-production vehicles, review functional issues with broader teams.
• Oversee the construction and maintenance of breadboard test benches.
• Lead troubleshooting activities and address cross-functional issues with broader teams and suppliers.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering
• Proficient in English, with strong documenting, presenting, and reporting skills.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
• No travel restrictions within the country and abroad.
• Project management skills, organizational proficiency, and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
• Tolerance to ambiguity and adept at handling complex engineering problems.
• Enthusiastic about learning and contributing to product design and development.
• Eager to learn & perform product design and development
• Preferably, a minimum of 2 years of experience in the automotive industry, with knowledge of CAN and/or other network tools.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering
