WORK PURPOSE:
- Control Engineer FSE (Field Service Engineer) with experience in PLC GE FANUC for our project in Istanbul, Turkey.
Duties & responsibilities:
As a Control Field Service Engineer (FSE) specializing in GE FANUC systems, you will be a key technical resource on-site for our project in Istanbul. Your primary focus will be ensuring the seamless installation, commissioning, and optimization of control systems.
Your core responsibilities will include:
- On-Site Commissioning & Support: Executing the deployment, testing, and commissioning of control systems on-site, ensuring full alignment with project specifications and deadlines.
- PLC Programming & Troubleshooting: Modifying, debugging, and optimizing existing PLC code and software logic specifically within the GE FANUC ecosystem.
- Hardware & Network Diagnostics: Troubleshooting control panels, I/O modules, communication networks (e.g., Genius Bus, Profibus, Ethernet), and field instrumentation.
- Technical Assistance & Collaboration: Providing high-level technical support, acting as the main point of contact between the local site management and the remote engineering team.
- Reporting & Documentation: Writing detailed field service reports, updating redline drawings, and documenting any software changes or system anomalies.

- Particular care when working in quality (QA/QC) and safety (EHS).
Required competences:
- Fluent or business level English;
- Minimum of 7 years of experience, covering the roles of Control Field Engineer in Oil and gas Projects that could be maintenance or installation activities.
