Exchange Participant is responsible for facilitating communication between parties who speak two different languages. He/she will do this by interpreting, translating and re-communicating both verbal and written messages from one language into another.

Responsibilities

• Translate verbal communications in real time (e.g. conferences, events, meetings, classes and training sessions, or individual communications).
• Translate written communications (e.g. documents, forms, meeting notes, emails and presentations).
• Assist clients by facilitating communications on behalf of their company.
• Document and record interactions and translations.
• Utilize a language understanding of how people with diverse voices, accents, speaking tempos and personalities communicate.
• Provide parties with clear and precise translations of written materials, and interpret verbal communications.
• Provide interpretations of questions, answers, statements, explanations and other forms of verbal communication.
• Render sight translations of documents and other written materials.
• Interpret thought, purpose, spirit, emotions and tone of speakers from the source language into the target language.
