Accounting Supervisor

We are currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Accounting Supervisor to join our Finance team in Milan, supporting the financial operations of our business.
Main Responsibilities

Supervise daily accounting activities including AP, AR, GL, and fixed assets
Ensure accurate posting and compliance with Italian GAAP (OIC) and local regulations
Lead month‑end and year‑end closing processes
Prepare reconciliations and validate general ledger accounts
Oversee all tax‑related matters: VAT, withholding taxes, corporate and local taxes
Coordinate with external consultants for statutory audits and tax filings
Maintain the fixed asset register and perform depreciation calculations
Monitor updates in local accounting and tax regulations, ensuring internal compliance
Support reporting activities and internal deadlines
Act as point of reference for auditors and advisors

Qualifications & Skills

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
5+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in structured or international environments
Strong knowledge of OIC and working understanding of IFRS
Familiar with ERP/accounting software and advanced Excel
Strong attention to detail, with excellent organizational and problem‑solving skills
Fluency in Italian and good working knowledge of English
Previous experience in leading a small accounting team is a plus
