Job Description    As an Assistant Plant Controller, you play a key role in supporting the plant’s financial performance, reporting accuracy, and compliance activities. You work closely with the Plant Controller and cross-functional teams to provide financial insights, maintain strong internal controls, and support operational decision-making in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities      Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes to deliver accurate and timely financial information.
Analyze plant performance, manufacturing costs, and profitability trends to identify improvement opportunities and support loss reduction initiatives.
Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and SOX requirements within assigned areas.
Prepare regular and ad hoc financial reports and provide analysis to support business and operational decisions.
Monitor inventory valuation, standard costing, and bill of materials accuracy to maintain reliable product costing records.
Review customer and supplier pricing data and analyze turnover, margins, and profitability by product, customer, or market.
Manage financial data maintenance and uploads within ERP and reporting systems, including Hyperion.
Support month‑end closing activities by preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and resolving financial discrepancies.
Requirements      Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience.
2+ years of experience in financial controlling, accounting, auditing, or a related finance function.
Fluency in English and Italian with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and familiarity with ERP and financial reporting systems.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
