We have partnered with a leading Italian Nutraceutical Ingredient Manufacturer to recruit for a Global Business Development Manager – (Remote with International Travel). This strategic commercial role is responsible for expanding global market presence, building partnerships with top nutraceutical brands, and driving the commercial success of a highly innovative bioactives portfolio.

As Global Business Development Manager, you will shape international sales strategy, open new markets, and position the company’s science-backed bioactives across dietary supplements, functional foods, beauty-from-within, and health & wellness categories.

Key Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, Nutrition, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
7–12+ years of global commercial experience in nutraceuticals, bioactives, natural extracts, or health ingredients.
Strong track record of securing partnerships with supplement brands, contract manufacturers, or functional food companies.
Deep understanding of the global nutraceutical landscape, including regulatory trends and market dynamics.
Experience managing distributors, agents, and multi-region customer networks.
Strong international negotiation skills and proven ability to drive strategic commercial initiatives.
Fluent in English;
Italian proficiency is a strong plus.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a global business development strategy to expand market reach across Europe, North America, APAC, and LATAM.
Identify and secure new business with supplement brands, formulators, and innovation-driven CPG companies.
Manage global distribution partners, ensuring performance, alignment, and market penetration.
Lead commercial presentations, value-proposition development, and solution-based selling for bioactive ingredients.
Collaborate closely with R&D, regulatory, and marketing to support customer projects and product launches.
Monitor global market trends, competitive activity, and emerging scientific opportunities.
Represent the company at key trade shows, scientific conferences, and international customer meetings.
Provide accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and strategic insights to executive leadership.
