Position
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Planning Specialist to join our dynamic planning team. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to build a strong foundation in planning.
You’ll play a key role in supporting day-to-day planning activities, coordinating with multiple departments, and contributing to ongoing projects that drive business performance.
This role offers great exposure to the full supply chain and planning operations including reporting, order management, data management & cross functionality.
Responsibilities
- You will be busy supporting day to day operational planning tasks, track and follow up on purchase orders (POs) and manage exceptions.
- This person will assist planners with short-term dynamic activities such as goods reallocation, priority shift & helping in addressing immediate constraints.
- You will support product development and cross-functional coordination by collaborating with R&D, Purchasing, and Merchandising teams.
- You will become an expert in preparing & updating regular reports such as supply status, shortages, and range performance, as well as interpreting data and providing actionable insights.
- You will assist on ongoing supply chain projects, system testing, master data maintenance and overall project coordination.
- You will have the opportunity to learn & develop a deep understanding of how planning decisions impact business performance, you will have the opportunity to take initiative and lead individual projects.
Requirements
- Positive, curious and proactive - with a problem-solving mindset.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, basic formulas).
- Excellent written and spoken English; the working environment is fully English-speaking.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks across teams.
