DESCRIPTION OF
THE ROLE
The Global Visual Merchandising Graphic Designer Specialist, reporting to Global Visual Merchandising Director, supports the Global Visual Merchandising team in the creation and execution of visual merchandising materials for Bata stores worldwide.
The role combines, with an initial fixed term contract of 12 months, daily graphic work on VM guidelines and presentations with the development of visual proposals for window displays and product presentation layouts, supporting store implementation across international markets.
The position operates within a global and multicultural environment, collaborating with regional and local teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the Global Marketing Manager in developing and planning global brand communication campaigns
Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to inform brand strategies and refine consumer understanding
Translate insights into actionable recommendations for brand positioning, storytelling, and retail activation
Support go-to-market (GTM) plans and marketing playbooks for regional teams
Collaborate with regions to adapt brand initiatives to local needs while ensuring global consistency
Work with Visual Merchandising teams and retail partners to increase brand visibility, elevate in-store experience, and drive footfall
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (legal, finance, supply chain, product and merchandising) to execute marketing campaigns
Build strong relationships with retail activation, advertising, and production agencies to ensure excellence in execution
Support the rollout of global marketing projects across priority markets
REQUIREMENTS
Degree/diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication or similar
1 - 2 years of experience in graphic design (experience in retail or visual merchandising is a plus)
Good layout and composition skills
Experience in window display design, product presentation layouts, and basic 2D/3D visualization is a plus
Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
Basic knowledge of Sketch Up or similar visualization tools is a plus
Knowledge using AI tools to support graphic development and visual content creation is highly appreciated
Comfortable working in an international environment
