Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Head of Sales – Central & Southern Italy to lead commercial growth across the region. This role is critical in driving market penetration, expanding clinic networks, and strengthening relationships with key opinion leaders and dental practices.
The ideal candidate brings deep industry expertise in dental implants, a strong existing network of dental clinics in Central and Southern Italy, and proven leadership of high-performing sales teams.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and expand sales operations across Central and Southern Italy.
Develop and execute regional sales strategy aligned with company growth objectives.
Achieve revenue, margin, and market share targets in the assigned territory.
Leverage and grow an existing network of dental clinics, implantologists, and distributors.
Identify and develop new strategic accounts and high-potential clinics.
Build strong long-term relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) in implant dentistry.
Lead, coach, and develop a regional sales team (area managers / sales representatives).
Set clear performance targets and ensure consistent execution in the field.
Foster a high-performance, results-driven culture.
Act as a trusted commercial partner to dental professionals.
Support clinical education initiatives, workshops, and product demonstrations.
Collaborate with clinical support teams to ensure product adoption and satisfaction.
Provide market intelligence on competitors, pricing, and trends in implant dentistry.
Contribute to strategic planning and product positioning in the Italian market.
Candidate Profile
Proven experience in dental implants or dental medical devices (mandatory).
Strong existing network of dental clinics in Central and Southern Italy (mandatory).
Demonstrated experience leading and managing sales teams in the medical/dental sector.
Strong track record of achieving sales growth in a competitive environment.
Languages:
Italian native level (mandatory). Spanish or English (professional working level required)
Skills & Competencies
Strong commercial and entrepreneurial mindset.
Excellent relationship-building skills with dentists and clinic owners.
Ability to operate independently in a field-based, high-growth environment.
