Missoni is looking for a Knitwear Product Developer to join the Product Development team based in Sumirago.

The resource will support the development of knitwear collections, coordinating activities related to yarns, prototypes, suppliers, and product industrialization, acting as a key link between Design, Production, and external partners.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical knowledge of knitwear with organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for product development within a luxury fashion environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support the development of knitwear collections from sketch to final product realization
Coordinate prototypes, samples, and fittings, ensuring timing and quality standards are met
Interface daily with Design, Pattern Making, Production, and external suppliers
Monitor the progress of collection development activities and ensure alignment with collection calendars
Collaborate in the selection and management of yarns, stitches, constructions, and trims
Review technical sheets and ensure accuracy of product information and specifications
Support cost monitoring and industrialization activities during product development
Participate in fittings and product reviews, collecting comments and coordinating follow-up actions
Ensure product consistency with design vision, quality expectations, and technical feasibility
Maintain and update development tracking tools and PLM systems where applicable
Requirements
Previous experience in knitwear product development within luxury or premium xpavfwm fashion companies
Strong technical knowledge of knitwear construction and yarns
Understanding of product development and production processes
Excellent organizational and coordination skills
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously
Proactive attitude and problem-solving mindset
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Fluent Italian and good English knowledge
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of PLM systems is considered a plus
