Overview
In this role you contribute to the development of sophisticated women’s footwear aligned with Versace’s vision. You will join a design‑focused team, collaborating across functions to ensure aesthetically compelling, technically feasible, and commercially relevant outcomes. You’ll explore trends and materials to inspire collections, while translating concepts into producible footwear. This is an opportunity to shape luxury footwear within a renowned cultural brand and impact seasonal directions.
Responsibilities

Research trends, materials, and macro themes to inspire the team
Support the design of women’s footwear within collection guidelines, balancing creativity with technical constraints
Collaborate with Head of Design, Print, Production, and other teams on prototype development, fittings, and refinement
Prepare technical drawings and notes to translate concepts into producible footwear
Assist in managing multiple projects across seasons, ensuring alignment with timelines and business needs

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of relevant footwear design experience
Bachelor in Fashion Design, Footwear Design, or related field
Good knowledge of shoe construction, materials, and manufacturing processes
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and/or other design tools
Strong creative and technical skills with attention to detail and awareness of fashion trends
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Strong communication and teamwork skills with a proactive and flexible attitude
