R&D Manager Industrial and Wellbeing

Who will lead the development and innovation of new or existing products, ensuring alignment with company strategy, adherence to budget and timelines, and achievement of technical standards.

Key Responsibilities
Innovation and Product Development

Participate to the drafting of the strategy for its area

Lead the development of new products or the enhancement of existing ones by promoting innovation and creative problem-solving within the team.

Use databases for patents and technical literature or commissions research to find technical information useful for developing new products

Ensure that R&D initiatives align with market trends, customer needs, and the company’s strategic goals.

Collaborate with the product development team to create prototypes, run trials, and optimize products before commercialization.

Project Management

Coordinate the activities on own area to achieves corporate target and KPI

Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of R&D projects, ensuring that timelines, budgets, and objectives are met.

Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and budget, to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.

Work closely with cross-functional teams, such as marketing, operations, and production, to ensure the smooth transition of products from development to market.

Team Leadership and Mentoring

Lead, mentor, and support the R&D team, promoting a culture of innovation, collaboration, and high performance.

Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify opportunities for professional development.

Encourage continuous learning and stay updated with the latest scientific and technological advancements to ensure the team operates at the cutting edge of the industry.

Collaboration and Comunication

Collaborate with other departments, including marketing, sales, and manufacturing, to ensure that R&D efforts are aligned with business needs and market demand.

Communicate the progress, challenges, and outcomes of R&D projects to senior management, providing regular updates and recommendations for future actions.

Manage relationships with external partners, including universities, research institutions, and suppliers, to foster collaboration and access new technologies or knowledge.

Regulatory and Compliance

Ensure that all R&D activities comply with relevant industry regulations, quality standards, and safety protocols.
