BUNGE  has an exciting opportunity available for  Industrial Automation Specialist . In this role, you will report directly to the Maintenance Manager, and you will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining industrial automation systems, as well as troubleshooting existing systems and providing technical support.

More on the Industrial Automation Specialist role:
Design, develop and test automated industrial processes, systems, and components.
Troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of industrial automation systems.
Install, configure, and maintain industrial automation systems.
Implement new technologies and software to improve automation processes.
Develop and maintain technical documentation for industrial automation systems.
Perform preventive maintenance in industrial automation systems.
Analyze system performance and suggest modifications or upgrades.
Monitor system operation and respond to alarms and errors.
Provide technical support to operations and maintenance personnel.
Ensure the operations of the plants in safety and within the quality and safety standards dictated by Bunge.
Monitor the obsolescence of installed automation components and software.
Collaborate daily with ordinary and extraordinary repairs of the plant. During annual shutdown ensure the correct execution of the planned tasks related to automation systems.
Support all potential suppliers during field visits and scope definition. Participate in design work at all stages of the automation modernization project. Check the project and assembly documentation.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure system reliability and safety.
We are looking for different aspects and education in our ideal candidate:
Higher technical education on automation of production processes.
Background:
Engineering, Electrical, Automation, Computer Science, or similar field.
+/- 3 years of experience as an automation engineer or automation project engineer preferably in oilseed industry or oil & gas industry.
Solid understanding of computer programming and software development.
Solid understanding of electrical diagrams.
