Project Engineer Manager

PES ENGINEERING grew out of the Engineering Division of PES, founded in 1979, and currently has over 200 resources on its permanent engineering staff, who have significant experience in the Oil & Gas, Power, Renewable Energy, Chemical, Petrochemical, and Automotive industries.

Our company engages in engineering and technical services (civil, rotating machinery, static equipment, process, HSE design, electro-instrumental, layout and piping), providing over 200,000 engineering hours per year to all major Oil & Gas companies, EPC contractors, industrial manufacturers, etc.

In addition, a series of strategic partnerships, signed on virtually every continent, support the company in carrying out multidisciplinary engineering, service management, inspection and expediting, recruitment and hiring of local staff.that will ensure that activities related to the discipline of machinery and package engineering within the assigned project are performed efficiently and cost-effectively, in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety / environmental requirements.

Engineering Activity Coordination Develop the project document list together with the Project Manager at project start-up Ensure proper coordination among the various engineering disciplines involved (both internal and outsourced), preventing inconsistencies between documents

Participate in and lead technical meetings with the Customer, involving time by time the necessary project specialists

Guarantee the proper knowledge and application of the project requirements among the engineering team Planning and assurance

Develop detailed engineering project plans, including, as necessary, milestones, timelines, resource allocation, and budgeting, in accordance with the general project schedule developed by the Project Manager Ensuring that the engineering activities (preparation, submission, revision of engineering deliverables and tasks) are carried out according to schedule

Monitor and report on the progress and possible deviations of the project

Budget and Resource Management Drawing up and monitoring project budgets (internal manhours and outsourced engineering services)
Ensuring the efficient use of engineering competencies and capacities, periodically re-checking the suitability of the project-assigned resources and escalating to Disc. Leaders and HoE in case of resources-related criticalities

Change Management Support Project Manager in managing contract changes towards Customer, highlighting any potential change opportunity and taking care of the engineering impacts estimation

Quality and Risk Management Analyze and solve technical and organizational problems that arise during project implementation

Ensuring compliance with safety, quality standards and procedures within engineering projects

Identifying potential risks and developing strategies to manage or mitigate them Conducting audits and quality checks to ensure that projects meet the required specifications

General

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Technical and / or Project Management, or a related field. At least 5 years of experience in an engineering environment, Proven track record in a technical position.

Skills

Experience with budget management and cost control

Knowledge of current engineering techniques within the realization of a project

Relevant experience in management

Knowledge of relevant laws, standards and regulations

Language

English, professional level in word and writing
