Summary:

To strengthen our Engineering & Grid Onshore Team we are looking for a Grid Manager based in Italy willing to join a dynamic and fast growing environment!

Job Description:

Main responsibilities

Manage the grid connection processes and applications from initial assessment to final agreement, including engagement with key stakeholders and early identification of potential risks and issues

Analyse potential connection options, associated costs, potential impacts on the programme and associated risks, providing technical inputs to risk registers

Work closely with the regional teams within the Nadara Group including project managers, project engineers, and business development managers to develop and manage project design for multiple projects

Monitor onshore transmission regulatory regimes and development to address the challenges and opportunities it represents for projects in Italy (and potentially other countries)
Participate in consultations and forums with government, regulators, TSOs and other stakeholders related to the development of onshore renewable energy

Definition of the electrical layout of the project (feasibility/basic design/executive design), with main focus on HV and MV systems

Choice of the main equipment of the electrical project (cables, power transformers, substation layout etc.)Technical support to Procurement Dept. during Request for Proposals for electrical station and main electrical equipment

Preparation of Nadara technical specifications to fulfill standardization purpose

Discussion with equipment manufacturers to verify products and compatibility with the project

Required skills & experience

Bachelor or master’s in electrical engineering or related discipline

At least 5-6 years of experience in a similar role

In-depth knowledge of the Italian energy industry, including a clear understanding of the key concepts, regulation and stakeholders

Knowledge and experience of the connection application process for E-Distribuzione and TERNA, including Web portals, Executive Engineering and Regional differences from the TSO/DSOExcellent communication skills (internal and external stakeholders and partners, technical and non-technical)
Full clean driving license

Fluent in Italian and English Knowledge of MS Office Desirable skills & experience:

Management of consultants and contractors

Understanding and experience of environmental and sustainability aspects

Knowledge of other technologies e.g hydrogen

Additional languages skills
