Purpose of the position
As Naval Architect Lead you will respond to the head of naval department and be part of the ENCAR.

Responsibilities

Check of naval deliverables (procedures, notes, technical reports)

Interfaces with other naval disciplines including construction team;

Interfaces with Clients and Fabrication Companies/Yard;

Develop feedback dossiers from projects

Develop knowledge of Naval Engineer competences in vessel hydrostatic and hydrodynamic;

Apply and improve technical skills, expertise, knowledge, procedures and tools as required for proposals and project execution;

Implement and control any preventive/corrective actions arising from audits or certification requirements

Improve quality and efficiency in the naval engineering activity;

Management of the timeline of the hull portion and quantities management activity;

Naval engineering and, more specifically, in vessel hydrostatic;

Numerical techniques and softwares used in naval engineering such as FEM techniques, panel model based numerical, etc;

Interface with classification society rules (ABS, BV and/or DNV).

Qualifications

Education:

Master's Degree in Naval Engineering

Experience:

10 years as a naval architect

Languages:

English (B2/C1)

Technical

Skills:

Numerical techniques and softwares used in naval engineering such as FEM techniques, panel model based numerical, etc.
