Consultant technical specialist - Contaminated site management

Experteer Overview In this role you will support complex contaminated site projects with a strong emphasis on technical excellence. You work within the LPMR team to deliver thorough characterization, risk assessment, modelling, and remediation studies. You operate autonomously on technically advanced tasks while collaborating with cross‑functional teams. This position offers the chance to contribute to site characterization and remediation strategies in a regulated Italian and international context.

You will engage with authorities and clients to ensure high‑quality technical outcomes and knowledge sharing.

Retribuzione / Benefits Develop and execute characterization plans for soil, groundwater, surface water, soil gas, and ambient air Perform Human Health and Environmental Risk Assessments per Italian regulations and international guidelines

Prepare remediation plans including technology screening, feasibility assessment, and conceptual design

Conduct statistical analyses and apply advanced tools for dataset evaluation

Manage sites impacted by Non-Aqueous Phase Liquids (NAPLs)
Contribute to environmental forensics projects using methods such as CSIA, passive soil gas sampling, and MIPPrepare technical reports and presentations for clients and authorities

Manage relationships with authorities, clients and contractors ensuring clear communication

Participate in ERM technical communities and share best practices

ResponsabilitàProven autonomous experience in site characterization, risk assessment, and remediation tasks

Strong knowledge of Environmental Regulations including

D.Lgs. 152/06 and familiarity with ASTM, USEPA, ITRCProficiency with contaminant-site software such as Surfer, Risknet, and ProUCL
