Are you a technically driven engineer with a passion for innovative passive components? This is your chance to join a global leader in electronic components, supporting cutting-edge resistor technologies used across automotive, industrial, and circuit protection applications.
As Application Engineer for their Resistor product line, you’ll be the go-to technical expert across EMEA. You’ll support sales and field application teams, translating customer needs into winning design solutions and driving new product introductions from concept through to production release.
Your work will shape the way customers design‑in and specify resistor products, giving you a unique blend of technical, commercial, and strategic influence.
Key Responsibilities
Provide expert technical support to sales, FAEs, and customers on all resistor applications.
Review and interpret customer specifications to recommend optimal solutions.
Collaborate closely with Product Line Management on new product development.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including datasheets, reports, and marketing collateral.
Deliver technical training to internal teams, distributors, and customers.
Conduct competitive and market analysis to guide strategic development.
Partner with global engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to deliver timely technical solutions.
About You
Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
Minimum 5 years’ experience in electronic components, ideally passive components.
Strong communication and presentation skills, fluent in English (additional languages a plus).
Solid understanding of product lifecycle management and industry approvals (UL, IEC, AEC-Q, etc.).
Confident using tools such as Microsoft Office, SAP, and CAD/3D software.
Self‑motivated, organised, and comfortable in a mix of office‑based and customer‑facing settings.
