Role and Responsibilities

Support the QHSE Manager in developing, implementing, maintaining, and disseminating the Integrated Management System (Quality, Safety, Environment).

Act as technical point of contact for site-based safety; conduct field inspections and behavioral safety audits, providing guidance to site managers for immediate risk mitigation.

Identify training needs and design specialized coaching programs for high-risk activities to promote a proactive safety culture.

Plan and execute the annual internal audit schedule; collaborate with external certification bodies during surveillance and renewal audits.

Analyze accidents and near-misses using Root Cause Analysis (RCA) methods; propose corrective actions with the QHSE Manager to prevent recurrence.

Update the company’s quality, safety, and environmental documentation in coordination with department managers and company management.

Qualify and monitor subcontractor performance, ensuring compliance with SUEZ Group requirements across the supply chain.

Ensure local reporting is accurate, timely, and aligned with global group standards.

Track changes in local and international legislation (Safety & Environment) and advise the QHSE Manager on impacts, updating internal procedures accordingly.

Collaborate with department managers to integrate QHSE requirements into business processes without disrupting operational efficiency.

Qualifications

At least 8–10 years of experience managing QHSE systems in large‑scale civil construction, engineering, or complex infrastructure sectors. Proven track record as an ASPP in field‑based roles.

Degree or diploma in technical disciplines (engineering preferred).

Attendance of specific training courses for ASPP (Modules A,

B) and Lead/Internal Auditor courses (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001).

Italian mother‑tongue; fluent in English;
French is a plus.

Expert knowledge of regulations regarding health and safety at work, fire, and environmental risks.

Advanced familiarity with current legislation on safety and the environment, referencing major corporate risks.

Analytical and critical thinking skills; understanding of KPIs and continuous improvement principles.

Understanding of business mechanisms and Integrated Management System procedures.
