Position: Permitting Specialist (f/m/d)

Job Summary

In this role, you will join our dynamic environmental team in Italy and contribute to impactful projects at both local and international levels.
Responsibilities

Contribute to the development of environmental projects across all stages of the project lifecycle, adding value and driving high‑quality outcomes.
Provide technical support to the Milan team across a range of environmental services, including permitting, planning, environmental and social impact assessments, due diligence reviews, and compliance audits.
Support initiatives related to energy transition and climate‑focused projects.
Ensure adherence to company standards and procedures in quality, environmental management, sustainability, and health & safety.
Actively contribute to and promote key company values, including technical excellence, innovation, sustainability, health and safety, and inclusion and diversity.
Approach assigned tasks with a proactive, solution‑oriented mindset.
Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with colleagues and project stakeholders.

Qualifications

Degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Sciences, or a related discipline.
1–5 years of experience in environmental consultancy or permitting.
Solid understanding of key environmental permitting regulations (e.g., AIA, AUA, VIA).
Good knowledge of core EHS regulations and sustainability principles.
Strong data management and reporting capabilities.
Fluency in Italian and English, both written and spoken; additional languages are a plus.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, remain adaptable, and work independently.
Strong communication skills with a collaborative, team‑oriented approach.
Innovative mindset with an interest in digital tools and visual communication.
