Experteer Overview As Logistics Lead Engineer you will drive the design, planning and delivery of major capital automation projects on the manufacturing site, ensuring safety, quality and cost targets. You will oversee logistics automation, integrating AS/RS, AGVs and conveyors with manufacturing processes and quality standards. You will apply Lean engineering to optimize material flow and reduce waste, and manage project budgets and cross-functional collaboration.
The role sits at the intersection of engineering, safety and operations, offering scope to shape scalable logistics solutions. You will work in a fast-paced environment with a clear focus on continuous improvement and cross-team coaching.

Proactively seek continuous improvements in daily tasks through training, coaching and follow-ups
Ensure project milestones are met with a professional approach
Responsibilities Automation project experience: 2+ years in development, commissioning and implementation of automated warehousing solutions (ASRS, AGVs, high-bay storage, conveyors) in food or manufacturing
Knowledge of machine safety (ISO/OSHA related to automation) to minimize injuries and damages
Experience in CAPEX budget administration and Lean methodologies
Strong knowledge of logistics, electrical engineering, automation controls (PLCs/SCADA/WMS/WCS) and digital manufacturing
Ability to promote inclusion and teamwork
University Degree in Engineering disciplines (Logistics, Automation, Mechanical, Processes, Industrial engineering or similar)
Fluency in English;
Italian a plus
