As a Field Service Engineer [Customer Engineer] at Applied Materials, you serve as the direct liaison with customers, collaborating closely to install, maintain, and upgrade equipment.

You'll use digital analytics for troubleshooting and apply basic diagnostic techniques to assess and address technical issues.

Your responsibilities include performing preventative and corrective maintenance on various systems such as electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems.

Additionally, you'll coordinate and communicate directly with customers to ensure smooth operations and exceptional service.

** Catania

** An Applied Materials Field Service Engineer stands for:
** Field Service Engineers (FSE) are representing Applied Materials at customer locations.

They are in charge of the accuracy and quality of service solutions  addition, a FSE combines in-depth technical expertise with excellent customer support to implement best service practices such as:
* On-site installation and support of advanced electro-mechanical and electronic wafer fabrication production equipment
* Performing preventive and corrective maintenance independently or as part of a team
* Systematic troubleshooting and fault elimination of the systems
* FSEs work across technologies such as:
Chemical Vapor Deposition, Atomic Layer deposition, Plasma Reactive Ion Etch, Physical Vapor Deposition, Anneal, Implant, Metrology, and Inspection.
** Our Trainee Program includes:
*** Theoretical and practical knowledge transfer, as well as international placements.
* Training on-the-job and guided tasks to gain experience.
