About Your Opportunity
As the Manager Asset Planning - EI&C, you will lead the strategic asset management and lifecycle planning of Seqwater’s electrical, instrumentation and control assets. You will establish clear asset strategies and plans that integrate service requirements, asset performance, condition, criticality, risk, resilience and cyber security. Drawing on robust asset information and operational insights, you will provide trusted advice, define long-term intervention pathways and translate priorities into coordinated capital and operational investment plans aligned with organisational, customer and regulatory needs.

Key responsibilities:

Lead the development and ongoing improvement of lifecycle strategies and asset class plans for Seqwater’s electrical, instrumentation, control and Operational Technology assets.

Define asset management objectives, service and performance requirements, lifecycle interventions and decision criteria that support safe, reliable and resilient operations.

Integrate asset condition, performance, criticality, obsolescence, cyber security and operational risk information to identify needs and prioritise lifecycle investment.

Translate asset strategies and planning insights into evidence-based capital and operational investment programs, including clear scope, timing, cost, risk and benefits.

Establish and maintain asset planning frameworks, standards, data requirements, performance measures and assurance processes that enable consistent, transparent decision-making.

Lead and develop a high-performing team and build trusted partnerships with Operations, Engineering, Delivery, Digital and other stakeholders to align asset plans, enable effective handovers and improve lifecycle outcomes.

About you
To be successful in this role, you will possess:

Degree qualification in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

Extensive experience leading strategic asset management, lifecycle planning and investment planning for electrical, instrumentation, control or Operational Technology assets in complex infrastructure environments.

Strong knowledge of SCADA, control systems, cyber security, and operational risk within safety-critical environments.

Demonstrated expertise in asset management systems and planning practices, including asset strategies and plans, lifecycle analysis, performance and condition assessment, risk-based decision-making and capital and operational investment prioritisation.
