The Opportunity
We are looking for a Technical Documentation Intern to join our team in Milan and support the creation and maintenance of technical documentation for software products.
This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in structured technical documentation, working in an international environment and learning best practices from experienced technical writers and technical teams.
What You’ll Do
As a Technical Documentation Intern, you will:
Support the creation and maintenance of structured technical documentation in English
Assist in reviewing, formatting, and updating user manuals, installation guides, and technical procedures
Collaborate with engineers and internal stakeholders to gather technical information
Support the documentation of system requirements with clarity and accuracy
Use Microsoft Office and documentation tools to manage and organize content
Follow documentation standards, quality processes, and internal guidelines
What You’ll Bring
Student or recent graduate in a technical or scientific field (Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or similar)
Strong interest in technical documentation and technical communication
Good writing skills with strong attention to detail
Good written knowledge of English
Native or fluent proficiency in Italian (spoken and written)
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
Good knowledge of Microsoft Word
Ability to follow instructions, meet deadlines, and work in an organized manner
Additional Information
Previous experience as a translator, interpreter, or linguist is not required
A background in medical writing or biotechnology is not required
The role is focused on developing skills in technical documentation for hardware/software products
