AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on.

We are looking for Data Center Technicians to join our expanding Infrastructure Operations team. Data Center Technicians are the primary resolver and troubleshoot a range of datacenter infrastructure issues, including hardware, fiber, networking, and related problems. They will oversee the operation and maintenance of the IT infrastructure and hardware for data centers in AWS Cloud regions.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose hardware and network problems and perform physical repairs.

Troubleshoot events within internal Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Perform root‑cause analysis of equipment failures.

Handle manual lifting and handling of equipment as required.

Work rotating shifts (morning/late/night) and weekends to maintain a 24/7 data center environment.

Location & Travel
Data centers are located in remote areas outside Milan. The role requires on‑site presence and local travel up to 10% of the time. A valid EU driving license is required.

Schedule
100% onsite full‑time position due to the hands‑on nature of managing mission‑critical infrastructure.

Basic Qualifications

IT hardware troubleshooting experience.

Formal education, apprenticeship or training in an IT related field.

B1 level of English.

Preferred Qualifications

Diploma or equivalent formal qualification in an IT related field.

Basic knowledge of Linux and experience with network protocols in a data center environment.
