Accessibility Expert

Experteer Overview As an Accessibility Expert, you will lead accessibility strategy, governance, and compliance across digital channels. You will act as the central contact for accessibility activities and integrate accessibility throughout project life cycles and company culture. You shift the approach from reactive fixes to proactive, high-quality, accessible experiences. You will shape policies, monitor progress, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to embed accessibility into business and design requirements, QA, and testing.

Retribuzione / Benefits Strategy and Governance: define project accessibility scope and develop a business case; create and maintain accessibility policies, procedures, and a monitoring/compliance structure

Compliance and Requirements: identify applicable standards (EN301549); assess legal impact and manage risk; address PR implications of non‑compliance

Project and Resource Management: determine budget and resources; assign accessibility roles; evaluate and train team members; involve experts or disabled team members as needed

Continuous Improvement and Training: gather stakeholder feedback; conduct post‑fix reviews; train managers, designers, engineers, and QA testers; improve accessibility across processes

ResponsabilitàExcellent communication and interpersonal skills

Proven experience managing complex programs or projects in technology or software development

Strong knowledge of WCAG 2.0 Level AA and web accessibility guidelines

Ability to assess team experience and determine training needs
