The R&D office in Rome is looking for a Junior IT Specialist, whose main role will be to cooperate on all IT tasks.
Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior IT to join our IT team. This entry-level position is ideal for candidates wishing to build a career in Information Technology and gain hands-on experience in technical support, systems administration and networking providing first-line technical support to end users, supporting IT infrastructure maintenance, and with continuous contribution for the improvement of IT services across the organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide first-level support for hardware, software, and network-related issues;
Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems reported by end users;
Install, configure, and maintain workstations, laptops, printers;
Follow company cybersecurity policies and best practices;
Assist with endpoint security and vulnerability management activities;
Report potential security incidents and suspicious activities;
Promote security awareness among employees;
Update technical documentation and user guides.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Knowledge of Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11);
Basic understanding of databases;
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, One Drive, SharePoint);
Basic understanding of networking concepts (LAN, IP addressing);
Good communication skills and ability to interact with end users;
Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
English upper intermediate level
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Understanding of IT security principles;
Experience with ticketing systems (Service Now);
Experience in IT support and IT systems administration.
