Technical Support Specialist – Automotive & Workshop Equipment
Reporting directly to the Technical Equipment Manager at our office in Corbetta (MI).
Responsibilities
Technical support via phone and online (ticketing) for workshops affiliated with the Magneti Marelli Checkstar network and outside the network
Analysis and management of automotive technical requests, using professional databases (electrical diagrams, procedures, technical documentation)
Support for activation, use, and troubleshooting of diagnostic equipment and workshop tools
Contribution to the creation of technical content (Tech Blog, reserved areas, supporting documentation)
Support for the development and validation of technical equipment and software (functional tests, debugging)
Second‑level technical support for products and equipment through remote systems for product installation and support, with constant interface towards suppliers and customers
Development and updating of technical and commercial product documentation
Direct work alongside senior staff for skills transfer and technical continuity
Qualifications
Education:
Technical diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering / Mechatronics
Foreign languages:
English (spoken and written)
Experience in companies in the sector or companies involved in equipment development and/or technical support in the automotive sector
Availability for occasional travel within the relevant EMEA geographic area
