Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of logistics and supply chain operations, both inbound and outbound, managing the entire order cycle to enhance business development.
Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of activities in the logistics cycle, including procurement, transportation, distribution processes, PSI (Product Sales Inventory), and application of European/local/national regulations.
Utilize forecasting and demand planning skills to effectively manage inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of products.
Manage critical logistic issues arising from external and unpredictable factors while providing forecasts for import materials from factories.
Lead and coordinate the activities of a logistics team, providing support and training as needed.
Analyze data and metrics to evaluate logistics performance and implement continuous improvements.
Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and requirements related to logistics, including Customs Law for import and export.
Negotiate rates with logistic suppliers and carriers to optimize costs while maintaining service quality.
Resolve problems and complaints effectively, monitoring service quality to ensure customer satisfaction.
Analyze warehouse inventory and implement cost optimization solutions.
Demonstrate proficiency in technologies and information systems used in logistics, including Excel and SAP.Develop strategies to optimize logistics and warehouse processes and set a mix of KPIs to ensure excellent service levels, cost budget adherence, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics management, focusing on inbound and outbound supply chain operations.
Proven ability to effectively manage a logistics team and coordinate activities.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Excellent knowledge of European/local/national regulations and Customs Law.
Experience negotiating rates with logistic suppliers and carriers.
Ability to develop and implement strategies for optimizing logistics and warehouse processes.
Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
