Logistics Planning & Optimization Supervisor

Experteer Overview In this role you support and strengthen the plant logistics by supervising planning activities and driving optimization. You ensure material availability, control inventory, and pursue continuous improvement of logistics processes to boost plant performance. You work closely with Production, Purchasing, Customer Service, and Suppliers to align operations with production needs. You will tackle KPI-driven challenges like OTIF, stock accuracy, and transport costs, delivering measurable efficiency gains.

Retribuzione / Benefits Supervise daily logistics planning activities (inbound, outbound, internal flows).Ensure material availability aligned with production requirements.

Monitor and optimize inventory levels and stock accuracy.

Analyze logistics KPIs (OTIF, inventory turnover, transport costs, stock discrepancies).Identify and implement logistics cost reductions and efficiency improvements.

Improve transport planning and warehouse utilization.

Ensure data accuracy within ERP/MRP systems (SAP preferred).Collaborate with Production, Purchasing, Customer Service, and Suppliers.

Act as backup to the Logistics Manager when required.

ResponsabilitàDegree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or related field.
3–5 years of experience in logistics planning within a manufacturing environment (automotive preferred).Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel knowledge.

Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP is a plus).Knowledge of Lean and continuous improvement principles.

Fluent in Italian and English.
