Plant Operating Planning Specialist - Material Planner

Experteer Overview As Plant Operating Planning Specialist, you will define the optimal replenishment strategy for Raw Materials and Semi finished goods to sustain the production plan. You will create and maintain short- and mid-term material plans, monitor coverage, and prevent shortages or overstock. You will ensure data accuracy in master data and planning parameters while collaborating across Procurement, Production, Quality and Central Material Management.

You will support material flows, minimize obsolescence, and track KPIs like Supplier OTIF and Destructions to boost reliability and continuous improvement.

Create and maintain short- and mid-term material plans aligned with production requirements, supplier capacities and logistics constraints

Monitor material coverage and take proactive actions to prevent shortages or overstock

Ensure accuracy of master data and planning parameters; collaborate with Procurement, Production, Quality and Central Material Management Support material flows and minimize obsolescence; align with production changes

Monitor and analyze KPIs such as Supplier OTIF and Destructions to improve supply reliability and drive continuous improvement

ResponsabilitàAbout 2 years of experience in material planning or similar activities

Master's Degree in Management or Industrial Engineering and Economics Proficiency in Italian and English Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Ability to work in a team Proficiency in Excel and SAP (and other tools)
