Job Summary Apply for FDGS Production Supervisor at GE Aerospace in Rivalta di Torino, PIE, IT. This visa sponsorship job abroad position offers great opportunities for career growth.
Role and Responsibilities Solve problems and take decisions on production flow with impact on short- and medium-term objectives.
Provide direction and guidance to production employees, including work assignments, scheduling of overtime, and training.
Review daily activities to achieve production schedules, customer satisfaction, cost goals, and on-time delivery while maintaining the highest standards of quality and EHS levels for all products under your responsibility.
Maintain and further develop a Visual Workplace, including support for a 5-S program, active project boards, performance-measure charts, and training-program status boards.
Support all company workplace policies, including attendance and safety objectives.
Work with HR to develop a performance-oriented work environment encompassing timely performance appraisals, new-employee reviews, and disciplinary action when warranted.
Assist the Cell Leader in decisions regarding process improvement and/or production resource allocation (manpower, fixtures, methods, scheduling) to facilitate flow through the process.
Support Flight Deck/Material Management teams on process-improvement initiatives to reduce cycle time, improve inventory turns, and reduce manufacturing losses.
Requirements Engineering Degree or High School Technical Diploma with previous experience in a Supervisor role.
Experience as a team coordinator, either for direct reports or in a project-based manufacturing environment.
Solid experience in a manufacturing environment.
Availability to work on three shifts.
Ability to work within a team.
Fluent Italian and good English knowledge.
EU work permit and Italian, Japanese, or British citizenship required.
Desired Characteristics Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications.
