Position Summary The Operations Manager will be responsible for the Dispensing area, Mirror lines and for the operational execution of NPI manufacturing projects across Continuous Manufacturing (Mirror Line), Batch Manufacturing and ESTC activities. The role provides leadership to Supervisors, Manufacturing Process Specialists (MPS) and operators, ensuring the highest standards of Safety, Quality, Compliance, Delivery and People Development while supporting the site’s transformation toward advanced manufacturing technologies and future growth.
Key Responsibilities Lead operations for Dispensing and Mirror line activities, ensuring safe, compliant and efficient execution of manufacturing processes.
Own operational execution of NPI projects from readiness through commercial implementation for both Batch Mode and Continuous Manufacturing (Mirror).
Ensure operational readiness in terms of people, training, procedures, equipment and materials.
Drive Safety, Quality, Compliance and Right‑First‑Time execution across all assigned areas.
Manage production performance through KPIs, continuous monitoring and structured problem solving.
Lead and develop Supervisors, MPS and shopfloor teams, fostering a strong culture of accountability and engagement.
Partner with QA, MSAT, Engineering, Supply Chain, Planning and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Support resource planning, workforce capability building and organizational development.
Manage budget and operational costs related to headcount, external services and supplies.
Lead investigations, deviations, CAPAs and continuous improvement initiatives.
Promote innovation, digitalization and operational excellence initiatives supporting the future manufacturing strategy.
Qualifications University degree in Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biotechnology or a related discipline.
Significant experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing operations.
Proven experience leading production teams in a GMP‑regulated environment.
Strong knowledge of Safety, Quality Systems, GMP and Compliance requirements.
Experience managing cross‑functional projects and stakeholders.
Demonstrated leadership, coaching and people development capabilities.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
Fluent in English and Italian (written and spoken).
Preferred:
Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) programs.
Knowledge of Continuous Manufacturing technologies.
Experience in Lean Manufacturing, Operational Excellence and Kaizen methodologies.
Exposure to digital manufacturing systems and advanced manufacturing technologies.

Benefits The anticipated base pay range for this position is: €56100,00 - €96945,00.
In addition to base pay, employees receive an annual bonus with a set target (% of pay) depending on pay grade/location, performance‑based sales commissions, vacation days, a minimum of 12 weeks of parental leave, bereavement leave, caregiver leave, volunteer leave, well‑being reimbursement, programs for financial, physical and mental health, service anniversary and recognition awards, and participation in various insurance plans.
