Production Cell Leader – Castelgomberto

Location: Castelgomberto

We are looking for a Cell Leader for the Operations team, who will report to Production Manager at the Castelgomberto plant. In this role, you will be fully accountable for the SQPDCI results (Safety, Quality, People, Delivery, Cost, Innovation) of your production cell (which includes multiple lines). You will focus on loss elimination across the entire cell, removing barriers for your Line Leaders, and ensuring that each line achieves its business results in a Manufacturing Excellence environment.
What you will do
Deploy and track  operational targets  for the cell and production lines.
Lead  daily performance meetings , set priorities, and ensure resource alignment.
Drive  safety and quality compliance , conducting audits and resolving gaps.
Foster  team development , manage staffing, and promote accountability.
Ensure  production schedule adherence  and smooth material flow.
Implement  cost reduction initiatives  and monitor budget compliance.
Support  innovation projects , including new product launches and technology integration.
Who we are looking for
Upper Secondary (High School Diploma),Technical Degree or the equivalent level of practical experience in manufacturing shopfloor is required; a University Degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
Certifications of formal training in Lean, World Class Manufacturing or similar methodologies are preferable
Experience in shopfloor operations with proven capability in leading small teams (e.g., 5–10 operators).
Demonstrated success in implementing improvement initiatives at the line level.
Hands-on experience in safety and quality compliance, problem solving and technical issues resolution within a manufacturing.
Technical Competences
Deep knowledge of manufacturing processes and dynamics
Familiarity with operation equipment, basic maintenance processes, and production scheduling systems.
Familiarity with Daily Management Systems and Lean tools.
Understanding of cost drivers and analytical approach to highlight main gaps, and ability to manage a departmental budget.
Leadership Competences
Ability to lead multiple teams, and communicate clearly at all levels.
Capable of planning and executing cell-wide initiatives, aligning resources with business objectives.
Skilled in coaching and developing Line Leaders and high-potential talent
