Location: Bagno di Romagna

The resource, reporting to the Manufacturing Process Engineer leader, will be responsible for developing and maintaining a culture of continuous improvement, supporting activities and initiatives aimed at improving the industrial performance of the site, particularly by eliminating waste, improving flexibility, labor efficiency, and service level.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Support the success of process improvement initiatives by implementing policies, procedures, and process documentation, and coordinating with the various functions involved.

Contribute to the transformation of the plant, technology transfer, and continuous maintenance of value streams.

Contribute to the implementation of demand-driven production fundamentals and strategies that support operational excellence and long-term plans (flexibility, speed, and responsiveness).

Help ensure that product, material, and information flows are synchronized to produce maximum efficiency and minimum operating cost, by designing and leading the realization of line service carts and workstations.

Work closely with production personnel to promote continuous improvement of production methods, systems, and controls.

Monitor and supervise methodological correctness in project development, efficient use of resources, and robustness of results with the aim of providing timely feedback to the involved structures.

Act as a facilitator of change management, implementation of major improvement programs, and effective measurement of Key Performance Indicators.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

PERSONAL/TECHNICAL

SKILLS:

Good knowledge of Lean principles and CAD software

Communication and interpersonal skills

Problem solving skills

Organizational skills and proactivity

Ability to work in a team

Knowledge of line balancing and ergonomic principles
