Quality Control Specialist

Experteer Overview In this role, you ensure garment quality across production stages by working with external manufacturers and internal teams. You operate with autonomy to improve product quality and production processes. You perform on-site inspections, identify and resolve issues, and coordinate with suppliers through technical sheets and guidelines. You will travel frequently to supplier sites in Italy and internationally. This position supports Stone Island’s commitment to relentless innovation and quality supremacy.

Retribuzione / Benefits Perform on-site quality inspections at external manufacturers on finished and semi-finished garments

Evaluate compliance with technical standards, fitting, and construction requirements; identify issues and support their resolution

Ensure correct interpretation and application of technical sheets and quality guidelines; coordinate with suppliers

Monitor production progress and collaborate with internal teams to align timelines, priorities, and corrective actions

Prepare inspection reports and maintain accurate documentation to support quality tracking and continuous improvement

ResponsabilitàAt least 5 years of experience in quality control or technical roles within the apparel industry, preferably on finished garments

Strong knowledge of garment construction, materials, and industrial production processes

Proven ability to identify, analyze, and resolve product and production issues

Good command of English for supplier communication and reporting

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with ability to prepare reports and conduct structured analysis; familiarity with digital documentation tools

Availability for frequent travel across Italy and internationally
