Experteer Overview In this role you lead a 20-person QC chemical laboratory, ensuring GLP/good manufacturing practices and Lilly standards are applied across the department. You safeguard safety, drive compliant laboratory operations, and monitor performance metrics to support manufacturing and continuous improvement. You act as Safety Officer and sponsor key field-monitoring initiatives to address deviations and non-conformances. Your work enables reliable analytical results and timely release decisions in a regulated environment.
This is a pivotal role for maintaining quality and site-wide compliance while enabling impactful scientific work.
Retribuzione / Benefits Lead shift personnel planning and overtime to maintain continuous lab operations
Ensure GMP and HSE compliance within the department and report unsafe conditions
Act as Safety Officer per Italian Legislative Decree 81/08
Sponsor the D.O.C.G. field monitoring program focusing on SOP non-conformances and people-related errors
Evaluate analytical results, authorize release of results and batch records, and communicate non-conformances
Investigate deviations and atypical results, implement CAPAs for continuous improvement
Develop and monitor department performance metrics
Support manufacturing operations within the area of expertise
Participate in OBM program and conduct departmental risk assessments
Collaborate with peer supervisors to align operational practices
Ensure training delivery and maintain shift handover documentation
ResponsabilitàMaster's degree in a scientific or technical discipline
Validated experience in a chemical laboratory in pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing
Previous team leadership experience with people development and results delivery
Fluent English, minimum B2 level
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret analytical data Requisiti fondamentali
