Position: R&D Raw Material (Fruit) Lab Specialist

Experteer Overview  In this role you contribute to developing and improving fruit-based raw materials and semi-finished products within Ferrero's Global R&D Fresh Fruit Filiera Lab. You will work with cross-functional teams and external partners to scout suppliers and technologies, ensuring alignment with Ferrero quality and safety standards. The position blends lab testing, data analysis, and supplier collaboration to drive product innovation and optimization.

You will play a key part in translating research into scalable materials and processes, shaping how fruit ingredients support new products.

Retribuzione / Benefits   Identify and evaluate new fruit-derived raw materials and semi-finished products to enable innovation and optimization
Plan and conduct laboratory tests to characterize materials across applications
Collaborate with internal stakeholders on NPD and product optimization projects
Maintain and update technical documentation for materials in internal/external formats
Coordinate material supply for trials and ensure materials availability
Build and sustain relationships with suppliers and external partners to support R&D projects
Track project progress and maintain compliant documentation and traceability
Responsabilità   Experience in the food industry, preferably with fresh fruit materials and related semi-finished products
Solid understanding of food processing and transformation technologies
Knowledge of quality and food safety standards
Proficiency in MS Office
English fluency for international work
Ability to manage multiple projects and maintain proactive, organized work habits
Strong relationships with stakeholders and problem‑solving mindset
Requisiti fondamentali   Base salary according to CCNL level 1
