The Role:
The Supervisor is responsible for driving sales and supporting management with daily operations of the store. The Supervisor will ensure sales focus, exceptional customer service, and deputise for the Manager and Assistant Manager in their absence.
Responsibilities:
Drive sales, offer exceptional customer service, and build a personal client list.
Supervise and drive the sales team to achieve targets.
Lead the team in excellence of service by demonstrating exemplary service techniques.
Deputise for the Manager/Assistant Manager in all aspects of their role.
Maintain knowledge of store operations and processes.
Support training of the team, ensuring knowledge of industry and products.
Maintain awareness of security issues at all times.
Identify opportunities and initiatives to improve performance; communicate to Store Manager.
Ensure store image aligns with business standards; conduct floor walks, maintain merchandising standards.
Maintain workplace safety and provide a healthy environment for staff and customers.
Qualifications:
Good knowledge and comprehensive understanding of retail processes, procedures, and systems.
Understanding of team collaboration within the department.
Provides on‑the‑job training and support for new team members; acts as coach/mentor.
Understands procedures, evaluates alternatives, monitors own work, and meets deadlines.
Responsible for quality and accuracy of own work; produces routine reports.
Direct impact on customer experience and team performance through high‑quality tasks.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with colleagues and customers.
