Software Architecture Automation Lead

Location: Sant'Ambrogio di Torino

We are looking for a Software Architecture Automation Lead. This position bridges architectural design and hands-on development — owning the internal automation toolchain by writing Python-based tools (ARXML generators, parsers, validators) that automate AUTOSAR architecture and requirements workflows.

Working model:
Hybrid Responsibilities Act  as technical owner and lead developer of the internal automation toolchain, designing, coding, testing, and maintaining Python-based tools

Develop ARXML generators, parsers, data validators, and consistency checkers to automate manual architectural tasks

Analyze existing architecture and requirements workflows, identify bottlenecks, and implement automation solutions to streamline architect workflows

Ensure tools produce AUTOSAR-compliant artifacts (Classic and Adaptive) and correctly handle Ethernet, SOME/IP, CAN, and LIN protocols

Serve as subject matter expert on tool implementation, mentoring on coding best practices and conducting code reviews

Partner with Software Architects, Systems Engineers, and Developers to gather tool requirements and drive adoption

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field

Proven hybrid profile with professional experience as both a Software Architect and a Software Developer Advanced Python proficiency — scripting, tool creation, data manipulation, with clean and maintainable code Extensive hands-on experience with AUTOSAR Classic and Adaptive, including configuration and methodology

Hands-on experience programmatically generating, parsing, and validating ARXMLStrong understanding of Ethernet, SOME/IP, CAN, and LINPreferred: C/C++ proficiency, CI/CD experience (Team City, Git Hub Actions, Jenkins, Git Lab CI), tooling APIs (Vector PREEvision, DaVinci, DOORS NG), SDV platforms (SOAFEE, Eclipse SDV, Red Hat IVOS), and automotive OS/frameworks (Android, AGL, QNX, INTEGRITY, VxWorks, ROS 2, Apex.
