Software Engineer, Software Project Mgr​/ Lead

Experteer Overview  In this role you will design and deliver software solutions for Alstom’s Maintenance Data Solution group, aligning with user needs and project goals. You will collaborate with upper management and external partners to ensure timely delivery while working independently when needed. You’ll shape software architecture, verify requirements, and contribute to testing, integration, and continuous improvement. This is a chance to impact diagnostics data management within a global mobility leader and help drive greener, smarter transport.
Retribuzione / Benefits   Organize and manage software development activities ensuring quality, cost, and delivery commitments
Define functional requirements specs and verify their testability
Maintain alignment between projects and internal support teams to meet requirements
Ensure traceability of software requirements throughout the development cycle
Define software architecture and development concepts (tools, methods, coding strategy)
Contribute to software integration with designers and to tests and verifications
Promote standardization by reusing or defining reusable solutions including COTS
Apply and enforce project processes and standards
Contribute to continuous improvement through lessons learned and process enhancements
Help define the software configuration management plan with the configuration manager
Assist in defining the software quality plan with the quality manager
Maintain and report KPIs to the Software Domain Leader
Responsabilità   Master's degree or Bachelor in Software Engineering (minimum)
Hands‑on software development experience (2+ years) in Railway or Automotive domain
Strong software design and implementation experience for complex diagnostics data management
Experience in managing work packages for subcontractors
Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
Good communication and reporting abilities
Ability to work in a team and adapt to changes
Analytical and problem‑solving capabilities
