Experteer Overview As Lead Backend Engineer, you will design and implement scalable Java microservices that power digital Transformation. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical roadmaps and deliver critical solutions. You will apply best practices for API design, service discovery, and fault tolerance, while optimizing cloud-native Java apps on Kubernetes, Docker, and serverless platforms. You’ll drive CI/CD, mentor junior engineers, and stay ahead of industry trends to keep solutions cutting-edge.

Collaborate with product managers, architects, designers, and engineers to define technical roadmaps

Responsibilities8+ years of Java development with a strong microservices focus
Expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Quarkus, and other cloud-native Java frameworks
Hands‑on experience with RESTful APIs, event‑driven architectures, and messaging systems (Kafka, Rabbit
MQ)
Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, or Open Shift Strong understanding of AWS, Azure, or GCP and their integration with Java microservices
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and Dev Ops practices
Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills
